Zhejiang University has 7 campuses, including Yuquan, Xixi, Huajiachi, Zhijiang, Zijinggang, Zhoushan and Haining. The campus is lush with greenery, offering a picturesque environment filled with birdsong and the fragrance of blossoms.
On campus, students jog along the tree-lined paths at dawn, read under the shade of trees, immerse themselves in quiet study at the library, or release their energy in the gymnasium.

As the famous Song Dynasty poet Su Dongpo once praised, “Nowhere in the world can a banquet rival that of Hangzhou.” The city is not only renowned for its picturesque scenery but also for its wide variety of distinctive delicacies. Among the classic local breakfast-soy milk, baked flatbread, and fried dough sticks-the savory soy milk stands out as a unique specialty. Signature dishes include the tender and flavorful West Lake Vinegar Fish, the rich and succulent Dongpo Pork, the hearty Babao Fish Head Soup, and the delicate Longjing Shrimp.
Hangzhou also offers delightful traditional snacks such as West Lake Lotus Root Starch, the sweet and aromatic Wushan Pastry, the unforgettable Pian’er Chuan Noodles, and the soft Southern Song Dynasty Dingsheng Cake.

As the saying goes, “There is Paradise above and Suzhou and Hangzhou below.” Hangzhou has long been celebrated as the epitome of Jiangnan’s scenic beauty. Since ancient times, countless poets and scholars have been enchanted by its charm, leaving with unforgettable memories.
The must-see attraction is West Lake, famous at home and abroad for its serene landscapes and numerous historical sites. Recognized as one of China’s most renowned tourist attraction, West Lake is often hailed as a true “paradise on earth.”
Other notable landmarks include Leifeng Pagoda, Broken Bridge, and Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. Beyond the city lies the Qiandao Lake Scenic Area, a national 5A-level attraction. Known for its crystal-clear waters and verdant hills, Qiandao Lake is dotted with more than a thousand islands, with highlights such as Meifeng Island, Monkey Island, Longshan Island, Lock Island, and Santang Island.
